How to Order Lamb Meat

Lamb will be available in mid 2010:

Hound River Farm is in South Georgia and is a humane environment for pasture raised Katahdin Hair sheep.
Lambs are not given any artifical growth aids and treated with medication only as needed.
Katahdin Meat is very mild, Georgia Grown and 10,000 miles fresher than foreign lamb.

Processed at USDA and Humane facility, with Hound River Farm Label.

Can order individual cuts or whole lamb with pickup at farm store or arrange delivery.

Individual cut prices per pound with average package weight:

Leg, bone in – 4-6# - $8.00 per #

Loin chops – 1-2# - $13.00 per #

Loin roast – 2-3# - $13.50 per #

Rack of lamb – 1-2# - $14.00 per #

Rib chops – 2#- $14.50 per #

Sirloin steak/roast-2#-$8.00 per #

Shoulder, whole bone in – 2-3#- $7.00 per #

Shoulder chops- 2# - $7.50 per #

Kabob meat from premium

leg cuts- 1#-$9.00 per #

Stew meat from shoulder cuts-1#- $8.00 per #

Ground lamb-1#-$6.00 per #

Sausage (has some pork) - 1#-$7.00 per #

Whole Lamb Prices:
Current season prices for a 100# lamb yielding approximately 40# of meat (including soup bones, neck slices and organ meat):

Total weight for whole lamb individually packaged will depend on cuts selected - more boneless cuts yield less total weight

Includes processing fees

Whole lamb - whole, halved,

quartered - $200

Whole lamb individually wrapped into various

cuts - starting at $225

Extra for delivery, vaccum wrap, special requests
